Just a nerd doing cool nerd things. I'm interested in, and think too much about, tabletop gaming, including character creation (the hows and whys), adventures, features, creatures, and everything else.

Playing with Blade and Soul's character creator to see how ridiculous I could make someone. This is after I reset her gross alien face, because it was just too much.

Lists of the Dead

My second attempt at Orion Trail. I was much more efficient this time, in that I had fewer, more costly death events.
I drove tow truck and we did the foot chase thing with people's cars during parking enforcement
Mildly humorous, but then, I have never taken the bus. Daddy has always sent a car to collect me.
Damn Dan funny
As a former school bus driver. Good training.
I grew up in the 70s listening to my mom's copies of The Buttondown Mind of Bob Newhart and The Buttondown Mind Strikes Back. His routines were hilarious then, and they still are great. His timing and delivery are perfect. Thanks for posting!
Bob Newhart's humor is so good. Nothing contrived or rehashed about it.
he is a national treasure
Never a swear word. Absolutely dry delivery. Perfect stuff.
Such a funny man.
WHAT BOB WAS N SCHOOL WITH MALLACCA JOE !!!!!
Love it 😂
There is absolutely only one thing I regret about this video, my da and his brothers are not alive to see it. imagine six irishmen all gathered at our table having a pint or two watching this and not busting a gut. This is the funniest thing, and I think of my da every time I watch it.
i like his speech on diarrhea and the actual science of diarrhea components
He is really buttoned down.
Bob Newhart has a very dry sense of humor------ as do I so I understand it. Funny as fuck. Bob isn't usually mentioned among great comedians which is sad. He has great timing 👏. Binge watching his TV shows. Makes my day much better 😌!!!! Ty 😁 !!!!!
Nailed it
Wow sounds like NYC TA bus driver training. Greyhound training they usually let the woman catch and get on the bus but they guys they would give a run for their money. LoL.
I remember listening to this on cassette tape - even better sound only - the pauses are brilliant.
"Don't, don't tell me Walt. You stick it in your ear, right Walt?" Incredible.
ALWAYS LOVED BOB NEWHART!
When I think of Bob Newhart I think of this joke except that in an earlier version the driver is instructed to use a "heel-toe, heel-toe" motion with the accelerator to rock the passenger with the packages back and forth down the aisle until they and the packages end up spread all over the floor at the back of the bus...CLASSIC!
Oh yes bus driving has it's moments...
I accidentally caught this back in the 1970's on radio and found it on good old youtube. it's genius. Poor Mrs Selkirk hope she was well paid
I found this more annoying then funny. I just don’t get the American sense of humour sometimes 😕
Canadians love this joke just as much as Americans so I guess that it's a North American thing...
And the people that spin in the isle and nearly break their necks, always say *thank you driver* when getting off at their stop…never ceases to amaze me 😂😂
As a former bus driver to me he is spot on😂
I was a bus driver, the only problem with being a bus driver is the passengers. One day I pulled up to a stop and the last person to exit from the front door was a woman middle aged and wearing a shoulder bag on her right shoulder. As I was watching to catch a green light to turn left as she stepped out of the bus I quickly shut the door and took off. I then observed that she was running beside the bus, people were screaming out” you got her bag open the door” I thought she was running to make the pedestrian crossing. Then noticed her bag was inside the door and she was outside, I quickly opened door whilst in motion so she could get her bag,but I still made the green light.
Bob’s great. Just started watching the Newhart show. Brian Reagan is my favorite comedian these days . He is hilarious. Very clean comedy for the whole family.
My rule is, if no-one is standing exactly at the bus stop and very, VERY clearly flagging me down, then I don't stop. Gives me another 10 minutes in the canteen.
Yes. You're right Daniel! In fact, I have the original album. When I worked for a bus line in NYC, all the people that I played it thought it was hilarious!
It's so true bus drivers are dangerous jagoffs
Brilliant and with no obscenity
He had to speak faster than he is innately able to do. Could not keep the pace for very long. :)
Absolute genius 🤣🤣🤣
You ain't a pro bus driver till you've accelerated through a large pool of water by the bus stop soaking those waiting rather than picking them up ( situation 9 of the Advanced Bus Drivers course)
Classic Newhart!!!
He must have been in my bus driving school when I got my PSV back in the 80's!
CTA turned around at Addison & Cumberland, where I'd get on for Cubs games at Wrigley. Electric busses mant times couldn't make across those N-S, E-W, and a diagonal intersections. Blue sparks and a dead bus just out of danger zone.
bus driver smacked me in the head with his wing mirror as i was walking down the pavement.. must've been a nice manoeuvre, as i was quite far from the curb.. i'm convinced he did it on purpose! i laugh now but it hurt at the time..
Dirk Passer did it better
Still funny.
Love all his tales , especially the submarine one, the driving instructor in fact all of them.
he was so right i drove for nycta for 29 yrs its a miserable job at best
Spicoli at the beach the beat box guy...lol.
He still used the same delivery, pauses & stutters playing Prof Proton on The Big bang Theory...
This is long before auto cue screens. Bob knows his stories. Remembers them. Is intelligent enough to speak freely from memory and never lose track of his own mind and mouth. This is the opposite of Presidential hopefuls today.
Didn't understand a thing😯
I can tell you it is a little different with a trolleybus...even BETTER!
Don't forget Alan King, " The Monologue King "; Jerry Lewis, and so many others!😊
In my area, which is very rainy and wet during our Fall and Winter weather, he forgot to add after dropping off passengers and making sure they're all off to accelerate quickly through a big mud puddle or pothole ! Make sure to soak everybody thoroughly in cold 🥶, muddy water ; especially make sure to soak the grocery sacks [ LOL 😆 ! ].
